Draft — pending review
This document is a draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have it looked at before relying on it.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers Highfield Digital Inc. (“Highfield Digital”, “we”, “us”) and this website only. Our products are operated on their own websites, each with its own privacy policy. If you are using one of those products, that site’s policy applies to you, not this one.
2. What we collect
The only information we collect on this website is what you type into the contact form:
- your name
- your email address
- the subject you select
- your message
We also process the IP address the submission arrives from, purely to limit how many messages can be sent in a short period. It is held only in temporary memory to do that, is not written to any database, and is not included in the email we receive.
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and includes no advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from this website rather than from a third party, so simply reading these pages does not report your visit to anyone else.
3. How we use it
We use what you send us to read your message and reply to it. That is all. We do not use it for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list.
4. How it is handled
Your submission is sent to us as an email. This website has no database and does not store your message.
Two service providers are involved in getting that email to us: our website host, and the email delivery service that sends it. They process your message only in order to deliver it.
Once it arrives, your message sits in our email account, where it is kept for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and our records of it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes.
5. Your rights and deletion
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email highfield.digital@pm.me with what you would like us to do. We will act on deletion requests within 30 days and confirm once it is done.
Because we only hold your message as an email, deletion means deleting that email and any reply thread.
6. Visitors in the EU and UK
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, data protection law gives you rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it is used, and receive a copy of it.
Our lawful basis for handling your message is legitimate interest — responding to someone who has deliberately contacted us. You can object to this at any time by asking us to delete your message.
Your message is transferred to and stored in the United States, where we and our service providers operate. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Visitors in Australia
If you are in Australia, the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) inform how we handle your personal information. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it, using the email address above.
As noted above, your message is stored in the United States. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
8. Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
